Charla came in to Real West this afternoon and shared her experience yesterday morning. She was driving with her nephew about 10:30 AM up Schoolfield Road and as they rounded the curve, they observed the cows in the field. Looking past them, Charla saw a huge brown fella running fast.
"That cow sure is running funny," she said to her nephew. Then they both realized it wasn't a cow: it was a huge brown bear running towards the mountains as fast as he could go!!!!
"He was huge, and I surely wasn't expecting to see a bear at that time of the morning!!"
Guess I'll have to drive up that away mid-morning - I haven't seen any of my neighborhood bears yet!!!!

Welcome to my Blog!
I've always loved bears. So, when I finally saw "my" first bear in Cuerno Verde last year, I knew I was hooked! So, starting "Unbearlievable" will be just the spot for everyone to share their stories and experiences with the Bears of Custer County and all around Colorado. Just tell us what "your" bear has been doing.
Here's "bearzie" as we've named him!!!
